COURSE OVERVIEW
With its creative background in still photography (Specialization Course) supports students in a broad range of visual and art knowledge; including still and moving images, installation, new media, editing, marketing and creative research. All grounded in discussions on photography creative genres such as Still Life photography, Product Photography, Street Photography, Travel Photography, Portraiture photography, Ethnography Photography, Fashion Documentary, and including the histories of photography with the changing role of cameras; photography in our daily lives, social documentary and activism.
Faculty represent a broad range of these practices within their own work, including analog and digital photography, moving image and installation, writing and publishing, painting and social practice, working between the contexts of museums and galleries, documentary, art criticism, and community and grassroots venues. Faculties give a broad range of knowledge towards art understanding, judgement on Art – Making, digital photography, exposure of new technicalities, writing and publishing your own work. We provide a practical environment for human psychology to work as an artist, in which a visual messenger (Photographer) can create his/her own critical thought of process in art. As in specialization we provide to choose Imitation Art, Conceptual Art and Minor Projects.
Photography is not only about technicalities and machines – control power, it is beyond meaningfulness. Photographer is a visual messenger. So, we tried to provide this historical, oldest and diverse style of visual communication. We are not only going to teach you about art, visual or photography, but we are going to show you “The Path”.
Outcome of the course:
By end of this course, students’ skills enrich, get knowledge in studio, lighting, practical, pre-post production, client generation, fashion photographer, product photographer, portrait photographer, street & travel photographer, documentary photographer, ethnographer, photography critic, photography writer, editorial and commercial photographer.
After successfully completing this professional level photography course a student will have a strong portfolio to showcase its work in specific genres of photography to the industry. In case a student is successful in achieving a defined minimum level mark, IIP will assist for internship opportunity/ placement opportunity/ making of a professional project.
Course includes:
Regular online classes, a strong reviews systems with mentors and directors, assignments submissions, one on one mentor-mentee discussions, specialisation based project making, scrapbook making and an advanced practical workshop/ webinars.
Note:
Minimum eligibility for a student to pursue this specialization course is to have strong knowledge of camera and its functions, a strong mind set to understand terminology and creative aspects.
